Marcus Dussard

My role is to oversee the Sales and Marketing Function at KSEYE, ensuring that both teams are pushing in the same direction to achieve the ultimate goal, which is our completion target. We do this by ensuring we’re on message and representing the KSEYE brand in the best possible way at all times. On the sales front, this is about getting out and seeing our key broker partners to make sure that we stay front-of-mind when they think about placing bridging business. There is a lot of competition in this space, so building relationships is vital. 

On the marketing side, we need to get the name KSEYE in the press as much as possible and in as many publications as possible. The key message we want brokers to know is that we’ve been doing this since 2012, and KSEYE has the expertise and knowledge to ensure you get the right result for your clients. 

I joined KSEYE in October 2023, having spent time at two specialist lender banks. The opportunity to join a well-established business looking to grow at a reasonable/realistic pace was the attraction. It feeds into my main strengths of business generation by opening doors to the wider broker community and ensuring that my teams remain hungry and focused on the prize.

Likes

My hobbies are being a season ticket holder at Arsenal, playing golf nowhere near enough and watching as much sport on TV as I can. (Not American sports) 

I’m married with 2 children, so realistically most of my time is spent making sure my kids get to enjoy all of their hobbies by driving them around.  

Dislikes

My obvious first dislike being a huge Arsenal fan is Tottenham Hotspur!

I dislike anything corporate when it comes to football, keep the game pure and accessible for all, not just those with money.

I also dislike golf, which is contradictory to what I said in my likes/hobbies. (Any mid to high-handicap golfer will know what I mean).
